Dr. Anne Arendt is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Chair in Technology Management at Utah Valley University. She has a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education from Utah State University, a Master of Business Administration from Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota, and a Master of Education from Walden University. She is also American Society of Quality Six Sigma Black Belt certified. She has been at UVU for over twelve years, serving roles in Distance Education, University Marketing and Communications, and now Technology Management.

My areas of personal interest are open access to education, life long learning, and legal and ethical issues in technology. This year I will be presenting on "Big Data, Mashups, and Geographic Information Systems: What They Mean for Business"
