Jay Heap currently serves as the Associate Superintendent for Technology Services for the State of Georgia. His team currently creates and supports enterprise applications used by state department of education staff as well as districts across Georgia.  He has been involved with online learning including teaching, content development, and administration since 2005. Prior to serving the online educational community, Jay taught business education in a Georgia school district for 13 years. He holds a B.S. Degree in Business Education, and a Master's degree in Adult Learning/Distance Education and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership (Summer 2013) and is also a certified project manager.
